dawn at Lake Ella

9/11/2022 – Sunday

Another unpredictably rainy morning — the weather apps were all warning of ongoing hard rain but it wasn’t even drizzling by the time we got out. Hard rain later, Y/N? Might as well ask the mystery 8 ball.

Yesterday I slept in until 8:00 am, which is wild! It was raining a bit and I had stayed up late, so perhaps unsurprising, since Keely was not anxious to get get so had no motivation to wake me up. Thank goodness it was cloudy or we would have baked in the late morning sunlight!

This morning we were back on schedule, though, out of the house sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 am. However, Keely once again made it know that she was not in the mood to go to Lake Ella, so we crossed Monroe up to Duval and walked north to the Publix plaza. Crossing back over Monroe again, I finally got a shot of what appears to be a portal in the time/space continuum. Is this 1994?

In any case, Keely is not impressed (look in the reflection of the door!).

Today it’s back to working for me. The draft of the (as yet still untitled) “Personal Projects Management for Solopreneurs” book is done, and I’ve gotten an idea for re-doing the unreleased Website Project toolkit. And also planning for the next Around the Writer’s Table podcast. …gonna need more caffeine…
