dawn at Lake Ella

3/27/2021 – Saturday

I am actually writing this on my phone using voice dictation because my desktop is rebooting and updating, which if you are familiar with Windows then you know that it’s a crap shoot how long it will take.

It has been a busy morning and I’m trying to get this posted before the email deadline goes by, which I set for 11:00 a.m. (so now you know when you’re going to get an email everyday!).

Keely got a short walk because I realized the morning was passing by and even though it was gray and foggy and not too humid, I wanted to get to the store before the temperature really started to rise. So I dragged her back to the house, and it really was me dragging her because she knew we were going back to the house and she was not happy about it, and then turning around to head out and walk down to Publix.

By the time I got home my feet were hurting, but I owed Keely a bit more of a walk than what she had gotten, so out we went again, this time over to Los Robles to walk around there. We’re rarely there in the morning so it’s always interesting to see how the light is different, even when the light isn’t that strong due to cloud cover.

Also, interestingly, the women’s club is distributing donuts, while wearing bunny ears. So I’m not really sure what this is about, although I’m sure it has something to do with Easter, right? But it is very odd and with all due respect to the Christians who read this I find Easter extremely strange with the rabbits and the eggs and all the fertility symbols and now donuts and people wearing bunny ears commemorating a guy coming back to life.

Yes, I know the history and I understand how the modern holiday came to be and what all the different things represent, but an intellectual understanding does not really fold well into my psyche.

Since I’m dictating this you’re not getting any pictures today, sorry. However I can say that the dictation on my phone is pretty sharp, as reading this over I realize that it is only made about two mistakes in this whole post. And, as I have mentioned elsewhere, I do need practice at talking more if I’m going to be doing more podcasts which apparently I am, both for work and for my own business! 💯
