Since it is a WFH day and I don’t have to rush out the door to be at work by 8 a.m., I wallowed in bed for a bit after the alarms went off. Keely tolerated this with patience until she didn’t, then rolled all over me demanding cuddles before hopping off the bed to stand indignantly in the living room waiting to go out. Such is the life of a dog-mom like me!
The weather had that thick, oppressive feel of a humid summer encroaching, but there were a few mild breezes that were a bit cooler. I’m enjoying that while I can. It was 70°F out at 6 a.m., though, and that…bodes ill. At least for my heat intolerance, which is legendary. Truly I should have been born in Norway or something. I can handle a lot of sun just as long as it is below 50°F!
Keely I think found traces of her Sworn Enemy, the fox. This photo was only possible because she stood there sniffing that ONE SPOT for long enough to be photographed.
Usually when she notices I’m trying to photograph her she will purposefully turn her back to me! Ha! I had to finagle the color settings a bit to get her to show up at all, she tends to just look like a fuzzy black blob in photos. My poor unphotogenic baby girl. :/
