As I write this, it is 10:30 am on Saturday, which makes no nevermind to me because I no longer exist according to a “work week.” Every day can be a work day, or not!
Of course, given that the countdown is on to me completely running out of money most days are going to be work days, at least a little bit. I do intend to NOT run myself into burnout, but working hard is definitely on the program for the next…forever? I definitely have a long to-do list in front of me right now. Not to mention, my living room and kitchen are very cluttered up and could use some straightening, which I’ve been avoiding out of exhaustion and malaise for the past *mumblety* months.
This morning was nice long walk with Keely. We went up Thomasville and when walking through the Manor at Midtown, I saw this sign up at Finnegan’s Wake Bar, and cringed:
Apparently I’m now officially part of the Throwback Generation. ðŸ˜
I’m half tempted to go, just to see exactly what they think a 90s throwback dance party sounds like. I suspect we are not talking about Rave music! Or grunge. Or, for that matter, what was really popular at the dance clubs in the 90s, which was 80s New Wave! Ahahahaha! They probably mean 90s Madonna, Cher, and Ace of Base. I personally did not listen to that radio station, but I am SO curious…
