I did, actually, sit down at my desk by 9:30, after walking the dog and doing yoga and drinking my tea and taking a shower, but for some reason the rest of the morning was a wash. I just finished lunch and so am now sitting down to my “workday” plans, including this blog, which is officially late (if it isn’t done by noon, it does not get sent out to email subscribers!).
The morning walk was damp due to ongoing but inconsistent rains. The weather forecasts are always going “RAIN TODAY! SO MUCH RAIN!” then I sit around for hours waiting for the rain which may or may not show up. It was cloudy, anyway, so I took us over to Los Robles which allows for a quick turnaround in case the threatened rains started unexpectedly. They didn’t, although it’s remained mostly cloudy all day.
I saw this yesterday when we walked over to the Publix Plaza and WTF, it’s JULY. I love Halloween but c’mon!!!
