This year is starting off warm and muggy but at least there is a lot of fog. Hmmmmm…well, actually, I love cloudy/foggy days, so I’m not upset about that. I know there are some heavy storms working their way across the country, and we’ll be getting that later today and tomorrow. I hope everyone is safe!
It was 65°F but the humidity was 100%. *sigh* Keely was not keen on the dampness at first but I think caught the scent of the local fox when we got to Lake Ella, so she was dragging me around excitedly most of the time. We were out very early since I snapped awake at 5:00 am and decided to just roll with it. Captured this nice moody image facing south across the pond, though!
I’ve been easing into the new year, which has been nice. Being my own boss definitely has its’ perks! Home with my dog all day is another big one. I’m feeling very grateful for the life I have now; it’s not perfect of course, and I do need to get some kind of income coming in here soon, but there is so much to be thankful for!
