My friend Kim and I were howling at our phones last night when we saw the date. 2023???? The shock was visceral. And now we’re well past the middle mark of January, and I’m thinking that time does not fly, it dissipates.
It was a dank and moody morning – foggy and humid and almost chilly but not quite – so instead of a lot of gray tones how’s this somewhat dramatic photo from yesterday?
I think Keely picked up on her true nemesis, The Lake Ella Fox, a few times this morning. It’s easy to tell the difference between her smelling other dogs and the fox, as the latter takes a wild and zig-zag route around everything…which means that I, too, take a wild and zig-zag route around everything as Keely drags me along!
Locally, the old Fire Betty’s Bar and Arcade location now has all its front windows papered over. I’ve noticed a few changes inside over the months, but mostly detritus and not any substantial renovations. So I wonder if the papering is to keep out nosey people like me or the start of something new? Stay tuned! 😉
Otherwise nothing new to report on the local Midtown Tallahassee scene. The old Masa Restaurant location is still for rent, and Henry’s Radiator property is still for sale.
