Another chilly day here, with slightly lower humidity which is the best part. We’re getting another big storm move through tomorrow, which is good as it is filling the water table back up. Lake Ella is not “full to the brim” but we’re far out of drought territory now, thankfully.
I’ve changed up my schedule a bit so we’re getting out of the house a little before 6:00 am most days, and this being Florida Winter, it’s still dark out. It was so peaceful that I went and sat on a bench facing east for a few minutes just to watch the sky lightening up with the first hint of dawn. Keely was mostly confused about the delay in her breakfast!
This photo is not from this morning but this past weekend. It is overlooking the chain link fence that runs along Duval between 8th Ave. and the Lake Ella Publix. The sign which you can barely see under the foliage says “No Trespassing” which I think is hilarious. Florida will eat your demands!
