Yesterday was rough — I woke up around 1 am and did not really get back to sleep, just dozed a bit on and off until it was time to get out of bed. Then I went to the grocery store and that took so long I missed the bus so was late to work, and then we had some random alarm go off requiring us to evacuate the building for a while, and THEN I started getting a severe headache. A friend online recommend I just call it quits and go home, so I did. By 1 pm I was back in bed and ended up sleeping for a couple of hours.
So that pretty much put a nail in my day over all, although I had a nice dinner with the fresh veggies I bought at the store.
Today I slept in until 7 am, but I decided that it was time to stretch my legs so Keely and I walked around for over an hour.
(…one reason for that is that I have realized over the past couple of weeks just how out of shape I am. Like, huffing for breath going up a short flight of stairs. Yesterday I started doing T-Tapp exercises in the morning, which I did religiously for while back in 2018…that was a good year for health, for me, but since then I’ve been very resistant to doing healthy things…esp. during the stress of pandemic!times. That’s not too surprising but it’s all caught up to me, though. I’m lucky to be generally healthy overall, so I need to stop with the self-recrimination about my weight and just focus on feeling better and doing things like walking more and gentle workouts and, you know, dancing.)
Spring is not here yet, but this morning is was a pleasant 45°F. We’ve even got some over-eager blooming going on:
Unfortunately for those blooms, we’ve also got a hard freeze predicted for this weekend. :/
