dawn at Lake Ella

10/27/2020 – Tuesday

I skipped the weekend mostly because I was SUPER LAZY ahaahah! What is the fun of being an adult if you can’t decide on your own to just goof off sometimes? Right? So I did. Ate junk food, took naps, read a ton of fanfic.

I did, however, walk the dog like a responsible dog-mom. This photo is from Sunday morning, when it was rather foggy out and Keely was just, wow, all over the place. It is looking east on Seventh Ave., at the Thomasville Rd. intersection.

Very atmospheric if I do say so myself!

But Keely really was on a tear — not going any direction she normally would choose to go, wandering back and forth across Thomasville Road. Did she want to head south? No. Up to Seventh again? Only if we cut through three parking lots first. East on Seventh? Maybe? No? *undecided* North to the Midtown Caboose rear parking lot? Sure!

I just followed along until she got to the point where she was standing in the police HQ’s parking lot, staring across the street at our driveway. I think she wanted to go home and eat her breakfast but also wanted to keep walking, poor dear. I eventually made the command decision and got us home.

This morning’s walk was both less adventurous and less foggy, but then it’s a workday. Yesterday was too, but started off with going to the lab to have blood drawn. Always fun, and put me in an off mood.

Meanwhile all online channels are having melt-downs about the “election.” I’m pretty sure we’re watching the death knell of democracy but eh, at this point, I can’t get any more stressed about it so I’m tuning that all out. I’ve done what I can for the time being.
