COLD! I am COLD! It was in the mid-40s Fahrenheit during our walk this morning, which heavily-furred Keely loved joyfully! I at least bundled up in several layers of tee-shirts (this is Florida, after all) and survived. Meanwhile, as the temps edges up to 60°F outside, my home, which is made out of concrete blocks filled with concrete, is an actual ice box. *cries into begloved hands*
But at least it was pretty out?
Update on $$$: I am still waiting for funds to be released, but all the paperwork has at last been processed, so relief is on the way. A few dear people have also donated to my kofi, which helps cover some bills until then. My big spending spree when the money arrives is going to be for packing supplies, as I ran out of a paper/tissue and tape last week. I also need to buy specialized crates for my vinyl album collection which is small (200 albums) but old and precious to me, and must perforce be packed with care.
Big ticket items like a new phone…ahhh, I may have to spring for that sooner rather than later, since my current phone is a Pixel 4a which Google has stopped supporting. I was hoping instead to upgrade my camera to a Sony EV-Z10 but that is gonna have to wait. 🙁
In the meantime, I’m hanging in, and still working on my Task Mistress business. Aim high, and all that.
