A slow morning, but that’s okay, it was only 63°F out and humidity is only around 50%! How lovely is that????
I took this picture yesterday morning, but I do love the way the light was hitting the clouds:
In other news the drought continues, and more sand bars keep showing up in Lake Ella. No lie, part of me is hoping that some weird ruins will be revealed by the receding waters, but that’s about the only light of hope we have here. I do not know what the long term effects of this dry spell will be, but given our temperate climate which leads to year-round agriculture, I cannot imagine that it is good.
There are braces wrapped around all the light posts at Lake Ella, and I’m not sure when they went up exactly, but I assume over the last couple of weeks. They are designed to hold Winter Holiday decorations and given that it is already November 3rd I’m shocked that they are not already hanging proud. I admit, I love the winter holidays — it’s such a good vibe, with all the pretty decorations and twinkling lights and uplifting music. As a Jew I probably should not enjoy it as much as I do! But I look forward to the warm tidings and good will to all every year.
