Coyote upgrade!

plastic coyote on a lawn

The previous version was a possibly-plastic cut-out that was staked into the ground and very susceptible to getting knocked around by a strong wind. THIS coyote is a definitely-plastic fully-formed action figure that, I assume, is probably anchored into the ground through its paws. I will say that it has been very effective at keeping the Canada geese off the lawn, so congratulations, homeowner! You win this round!

Another house is up for sale around Lake Ella, and it makes me sad because I’m pretty sure at least one of the former owners died, or they perhaps moved into assisted living? They were an elderly couple that used to walk around Lake Ella every morning just after sunrise and pick up trash. I had not seen them in a couple of years, but with the pandemic, I know a lot of folks changed routines. However, the house is now empty and up for sale. It’s a great home and honestly if I had that kind of financial traction I’d snap it up!

It was chilly this morning which meant Keely was feeling her oats, or more accurately, her Germanic roots! So there was a lot of to-and-fro’ing as she tracked down devious villains, possibly a fox, maybe squirrels, or just a ghost of another dog? It’s always fun to watch her track something with her head down and her tail wagging.
