Knocking this update out early, as I am going to join my friend Gina today over at the co-working event at Domi Station. It’s going to get me out of the house! Woooo hoooo! But my goal for the day is “lots of writing” so I want these kinds of tasks cleared before we leave in *checks clock* uh, soon! eeep
This was my morning wake up call, a demand for belly rubs:
Keely was NOT keen to get up, though. The daylight savings time change has convinced her that I am absurdly like a lunatic getting up an hour early wtf!!!!! And she’s not down with that. At all. After some belly rubbing and scritching all over I finally had to just haul her butt out of bed to get going.
She was even less impressed to be outside, where, despite the fact that it was not actively raining, everything was damp and moist and icky. We went around Lake Ella as usual, but she was not too interested since the long rains beat down any interesting scents and Little Miss Princess Tank Potato was eager to get her paws out of puddles and wet grass. *rolls eyes*
At least it wasn’t warm…yet. Summer is lurking in the humidity, I can tell.
