Normally I’d be heading out to co-work with Gina at Domi Station today, but she’s traveling so instead I am meeting up with Melody to enjoy Chef Leon’s pop-up lunch at around 11:00 am! Which means…I hit the ground running to make time for that by clearing the decks of “things I must do!” today. Thus, here we are!
I’m seeing some changes on my walks. At Lake Ella, one of the swings has been taken down, and it looks like it was to repaint the wooden frame for it. Now we just lay bets on whether the swing will ever be put back, or if this is just another “anti-homeless” measure that actually makes life worse for everyone and doesn’t solve the problems that lead to homelessness. *waits*
The other big change is over at the haunted Sonic! After closing this past September it has remained empty and forlorn, with no work or clean up done on it at all. Well, looks like things are getting a move on: a big construction dumpster has been put next to the building, and inside some things have been moved around. I’m guessing this is the preliminary stages of tearing it down? I’ll keep you posted!
In the meantime, yesterday was cold and so Keely let her inner cat free, chasing the sunbeam across the floor. Note the blep-tongue! SO CUTE! AAAAAAAAAAAAA
