Finally got out right at 6:00 am! Feels like it’s been forever since I we were walking around that early! Alas, the hot weather is here; it was already 72°F degrees with 90% humidity by the time we stumbled out the door, and the sun was barely breaking over the horizon. *sigh*

The Keely update is that she does not, in fact, have a UTI! There is some kind of issue with her bladder but it should be manageable via food and regular meds. She just an old girl with bladder issues, which is too relatable, alas. :/
I finally finished writing The Queen’s Aerie on Sunday night and sent it to my editor. It clocks in at 92k words, and honestly, I could have gone longer. Might still, as I’m not sure the ending is a satisfying one for readers. Would not be surprised if it hits 100k in the end, tbh (but having been in the c-novel/c-drama fandoms for nearly three years now, I tend to consider such numbers on the low side anyway!). Next up are 1) finishing the first Bones & Brews Café cozy mystery; 2) my epic portal/transmigration fantasy fic that I have not figured out a title for yet. Onwards!!!!
