Last night I felt really terrible, and I don’t know if it was junk food or over-heating or what but I woke up with a proto-migraine which was NOT fun. I did get Keely for a walk, although it was a shorter route through Los Robles, then came home, took some ibuprofen, and went back to bed for 3+ hours. Finally woke up again after 10:30 and still feeling low, with a slight headache lurking. Not fun.
Of course, it’s 2022, so the question is: COVID? Common cold? Heat stroke?
I will take a COVID test later if I still feel icky but honestly suspect the last one, as I am super sensitive to heat and I think I let the house get too hot yesterday. I am in the process of putting reflective coverings on the windows to help reduce the heat, which in ALL the years I’ve lived in this wretched state I’ve never felt was necessary before. But at this point, where the heat index is above 105°F every damn day, keeping the apartment livable is fight. My A/C unit is as old as this building and creaks along as it is, not to mention eats electricity. *sigh*
I did take this photo of Keely recently, though, and I like how it came out (I used the Canon), so enjoy!
