I simply cannot believe it is June 5th already. The year? Is half? GONE??!?!??!
Yesterday was the three month mark for me since I quit my job. I have spent a lot more money than I had hoped, but admittedly a good portion of that was on business expenses – a new laptop/tablet after my last one crapped out, software, digital assets, webhosting costs, etc. Am I nervous about the money bleed? YOU BETCHA! Am I clinging to hope? Also yes. 😬
But I continue to play with photography, which is fun. Admittedly rhis is not a great shot, composition-wise, but I liked the contrast of sunrise-bright sky and the shadows below:
This is the front entrance of the Tallahassee Police Headquarters, and it was taken from the driveway to my apartment complex. We’re on a hill about with about 20ft elevation which is how I can get a shot looking down on the building. I fiddled with it a little in GIMP for make the contrast a bit more obvious; that old oxymoron where you do a lot of photo processing in order to make it look like the way it looks to your eyes instead of the wide-open bright sight of the camera itself!
It’s a quiet Sunday morning, so while we did not get out until about 7:00 am (Keely was herding me out the door but I was slow-moving!) traffic was nonexistent and we had the park to ourselves. It was only 70°F too, which was nice. I’ll take what we can get!
