The attack bird was back! Or rather it was where it was and we scooted around the edges of it’s territory as best we could, which we had to do since the stupid bird put its nest right along the only path back to my house. Stupid bird!
A friend pointed me to a birdwatcher site that lists all the birds seen around Lake Ella, and while I’m no naturalist, it is interesting that over the course of the year there are so many! Seeing it again this morning, I’m pretty sure it is, as the friend suggested, an Eastern Kingbird.
The rest of the walk was uneventful; we were out by 6:30 am. I actually woke up at 5:00 am, but just lounged around in bed for a bit, before Keely ran out of patience and hustled me along. It was already 74°F and 85% humidity, with very little wind. In other words: moist. ugh. Keely got home and her fur was very literally damp due to the humidity.
I did have my camera with me, and it’s becoming more familiar to carry around. What I really need to do is mess with the photos in Affinity Photo to try and learn it a bit better, but learning curves can be so borning! LOL! Anyway, I know this is hardly high art but I also know a lot of you love the spanish moss effect, so enjoy!
