It’s a fight between typing “6/1/2022” and “7/1/2020” and nothing is right. I need more caffeine!
We did not get out of the house until 6:45 am, but that’s down to Keely. My alarm went off at 5:30 am as usual and she usually stumbles into my room after that to pester me into getting up, but she was MIA for a while! Sometimes she just wants to sleep in, too! But out we went into the humidity, which is fierce even if the temp was a reasonable 72°F. I blame the heavy rains yesterday evening making everything damp.
Today’s photo is an old one. I was going through some older shots from 2017 and found this one, which is not great but I think has a bit of atmosphere to it. Had to clean it up a bit but it turned out okay:
More rains are expected today, which is good news overall. The high heat of a few weeks ago cost us a lot, water-wise.
I don’t…I don’t have a lot to talk about, honestly. A lot is going on, but everyone is saying smarter things than I am about it, and it’s all grim. So, I’m keeping my head down for now to do the things I need to do. I am however making a couple of calls a day using the Five Calls app, which at least gives me the feeling that I’m doing something. *sigh*
