I didn’t want to go around Lake Ella so I headed us into Los Robles, but Keely apparently did not want to be there so literally pulled me around the back of the Women’s Club building (which is right at the entrance of the subdivision) and took me down Thomasville Road instead. Okay!
News to note is the upscale boutique Sparkles has closed down. The place was super popular with the skinny sorority girl set, but apparently it has moved out to Capital Circle. Lower rent out there? Closer to the “nice” subdivision Southwood? Anyway the place is cleared out and is for rent.
I’m still working on drawing — experimenting with alcohol markers (good for blending) although the paper is all wrong for it. Doesn’t matter, it’s a cheap sketchbook, and I like how it turned out overall:
Anyone wants to buy me a set of Copic markers? LOL!
Lots of work planned for the day, so I’m off to races (as Poppa would say…)
