AT LAST! It was only 68°F this morning! And only 74% humidity! SUCH BLISS!
It is the first time it’s gotten below 70°F in many, many months, and it was glorious. Keely and I were out by around 6:45 am for our usual stroll around Lake Ella, and with the delayed sunrise and the cooler temps, we both took our time. This weather is supposed to last for a few days before the heat returns, so I look forward to wallowing in it as much as possible. A neighbor was outside when I got home and she gleefully told me she’s got her “mulled cider” scented candles out in the spirit of autumnal optimism!
Today’s photo is another mandala that I finished earlier this week while on the phone with a friend:
Someday I will rip out all the mandalas I’ve colored while on the phone, lay them out on the floor, take a photo, and title the resulting image “On the Phone.” 😀
The morning was busy after our walk as I am acting as a medical advocate for a friend going through a lot of testing, and then I’m going to Publix to get my COVID booster shot. I need to get my flu shot as well but last time I doubled up on vaccinations the blow back knocked me out for a couple of days, so not doing that again. I’m taking the rest of the day off in case this booster has side effects, though!
