Not to start off on a downer, but I picked up a stomach bug yesterday and have been a vomitous, feverish wreck ever since. I forgot how much of a full-body workout throwing up is. 🙁
I had to call friends to walk Keely last night as I was incapable of even walking that far, but this morning I did manage to dress and hobble out by around 9 am. It was drizzly and cloudy, humid and dank, which fit my mood perfectly.
We did a simple route around the block, and I realized that I rarely take that route during times when there is significant traffic. The reason I realized this was because we kept getting splashed by passing cars hitting street puddles.
We were both fairly damp by the time we got home.
I am now getting ready to go back to bed, but I wanted to make sure to get this out today. I’m too fuzzy-headed to make anything sensible out of this, so here you go.
