Late to writing this, but eh, what else is new?
We got out around 6:30 am, so it was still fairly dark. The greens in the window at Leon C. Brunson’s café were looking a little ominous, as if they were trying to make a break for freedom:
Keely was slow to rise, but perked up about halfway through the walk. She’s such a mystery sometimes! I don’t think it was the fox, though; she hasn’t caught scent of it in a while, but then, it’s been raining heavily every few days, so the fox hasn’t had time to go putting it’s scent everywhere.
The humidity is ramping up. Florida when it starts moving out of our “winter” (dry-ish) season is mostly just…damp. Did it rain during the night or are all the wet sidewalks due to nothing drying off from yesterday’s rain? Who knows!
In other Keely news, I have splurged, perhaps (definitely) unwisely and got a kit to have Keely’s genetics tested. I know the dog breed DNA tests aren’t very accurate, but I’d love to have a general idea of her mix. Is there schnauzer in there? I wanna know!!!!!!!!!!! And now I suppose I will. She was not happy about the whole cheek swab thing, and I feel some sympathy for parents trying to do swab tests on toddlers. In short, she kept trying to chew on “the annoying thing in her mouth” and I kept trying to stop her! 😀
