I have not posted a photo of Lake Ella in a while…usually because when I’m there it’s still pre-dawn and there isn’t much to see! But here is a hint of sunlight:
It’s been chilly for the past two days which both Keely and I have enjoyed a lot. I’m dreading what the summer will hold for us, weather-wise, as well as hurricane season which is also swiftly approaching (it starts in June, if you somehow forgot).
The park was surprisingly quiet for a weekday morning; the regular Walking Dudes was singular today, just one of them out and about. And that was pretty much it, aside from Chef Brunson doing some early cooking prep in one of his cottages. Since it is still spring break there was not a lot of traffic either! Love that for all of us! 😀
In other news, I’ve been super busy re-reading my older books and feeling the spark of creativity welling up inside of me again. I love telling stories and I’ve spent too much of my life stifling that call…perhaps a funny thing for someone with multiple published books to say, but y’all, I have SO MANY stories I want to tell!
