A slow start to my day meant we did not get out until 7:30 am, and in the rush, I forgot to make my bed. Long after we came home and Keely got her breakfast, I found this little tank potato snuggled all up in my unmade sheets:

The parade for Springtime Tallahassee was setting up along Monroe street, so I got to see a lot of the floats, which was fun. I am not a parade attending kind of person, in general, so I’ve never actually attended Springtime Tallahassee (which is an annual even to celebrate springtime and Tallahassee, I assume). The weather was great for a parade, though, being about 70°F with a slight cloud layer to keep things cool. The sun eventually came out for a bit, but we’re due some rain later.
Alas, the long walk led to a long headache, since I had forgotten to take my sinus meds before heading out the door — another victim of my speed-run through my pre-walk routine! Fortunately Saturdays are my day off from all other projects/work, so I’ve been lazing around, watching youtube videos about AI, reading the glorious book At the Feet of the Sun, and napping.
