But I can do something different. I’m going to do a spiritual and physical “retreat” starting tomorrow. I’m going to approach it like meditation retreats I’ve done in the past: restful, intentional, challenging.
Keely’s WayPosts
12/28/2022 – Wednesday
Keely has been enjoying the cooler weather, but I'm glad we got a small upswing this morning — it was about 35°F, bright and sunny. I'm still holding her back until after 7:30 am so at least we do have some sunlight to offset the temperatures, but that's more for me...

Suddenly it seems like 2022 flew by, even if at times I thought it would never end. Which, come to think of it, has been the status quo since March of 2020 so I don't know why I expected different. For me, the wild part is realizing that at this time a year ago, I was...
12/18/2022 – Sunday & sorry for the absence
This past week was exhausting in a lot of ways, so updates to Keely's Way were the first to slide off the agenda! I apologize! ...not that I think anyone was waiting breathlessly for news, but still. I've returned home, booted up the computer, and am back in business!...

I'm slow moving today, mostly because yesterday was loooong. I was co-working at Domi Station with Gina all day, then we attended the Women Wednesdays event there in the evening. It was a great presentation by Heidi Otway, well worth staying for! Which means we did...
12/4/2022 – Sunday
The "Lake Ella Missing Holiday Decorations Watch" continues, as it is now fully into the first week of December and there are still no sparkling lighted decorations hanging off the lamp-posts. As mentioned before, the braces used to support the decorations were...
12/1/2022 – Thursday
It was a nice chilly morning, just about 45°F, so I was layered up and wearing gloves like a proper Floridian. I can tell Keely is getting older as she was excited to go out but moved pretty slowly once we were out in the windy cold. One interesting thing I've noticed...
